Auf eurogamer.net gibt es den Hinweis von Itzik Ben Bassat, Blizzards Vice President für die Entwicklung, dass Blizzard definitiv an einem weiteren MMOG arbeitet. Doch kann dies genauso gut Starcraft 2 sein, was wir nicht hoffen wollen. Diablo 3 wäre allerdings genauso gut möglich.

"When we announce our next MMORPG it´s not going to be another WoW - we´re not a company that tends to tread the same ground," said Bassat, speaking to film magazine Empire around the time of Burning Crusade´s launch. "It´ll be something innovative and new that really brings entertainment to another level."
